A Letter From Noviland CEO: CNY, Coronavirus, & Your Supply Chain

Dear Noviland Friends & Users,

Firstly, thank you for choosing Noviland for your sourcing & purchasing decisions.

Secondly, I’m writing you this letter today from Hangzhou – where our China operations are Headquartered. I’d like to share some first-hand information on how the coronavirus is impacting factories and business operations in China. As I’m sure you’re aware, the coronavirus is prevalent in China and the Central Government has taken extraordinary measures to prevent the spread of it.

One of those measures is extending the Chinese New Years holiday national-wide. Businesses may remain closed up to February 9th in most cities to prevent people from traveling, congregating and potentially spreading this highly contagious coronavirus.

Hubei, the province that is most affected by the coronavirus may have much longer travel restrictions. Hubei is the hometown of millions of factory workers. Most of which won’t be able to get back to the factories any time soon. We are expecting longer production & shipping lead times once factories open up as production & shipping queues continue to grow.

While this situation is causing disruptions to the global supply chain, our team is closely monitoring the status of each and every single factory in our network. We will make sure your orders and sourcing needs are handled as soon as the factories open back up.

We are confident that business, global trade, and we as a human race will prevail from this terrible virus.

We’ll be continuously updating our users and followers with real-time updates via the Noviland Facebook page if you’d like to stay in-the-know.

Sincerely yours,

Chuan Sun
President & CEO, Noviland, Inc.
